The American Artists Professional League has honored Henry with the prestigious Frank C. Wright Medal of Honor, $500 award for his watercolor painting, "Subdued Gold" at the 81st Grand National Exhibition in New York City.  Exhibition, Tuesday November 3 – Friday, November 13 at the Samagundi Club, 47th fifth Avenue, New York, NY.

Henry served as juror of selection and awards for the annual open juried exhibition for the Colonie Art League in the Greater Albany, NY area. He was also chosen to be featured at their monthly meeting, presenting a demo in May 2009.
